76°

Yesterday marked 1 year since Covid-19 was labeled a pandemic.   Enough about that for right now.

Today here in Pennsylvania it's a record breaking 76°.  I love it!

Of course, in typical PA fashion, it's expected to drop into the 40°s tomorrow.  I'll enjoy the sunshine and warmth while we have it.

Hello March

Again, I am writing from my car as I wait for my little dancer to finish with her second class of the evening.   This has been my only down time today.  I went into work early to make up some time, went to Walmart and then did some household chores.  Still, so much needs done.  There's always tomorrow, right?   Well, as long as God allows.

Here we are in March already.   Let's hope this March doesn't turn out like the last one.  I can't believe it's been a year since Covid-19 turned our world upside down.  It's been quite a devastating year but still, I'm remaining positive.   We're also a few weeks into Lent and my promise of giving up junk food is going quite well.  I can't tell you how much temptation is all around me every day but I am not budging.  I have all of March to get through and I know I can do it.

As I'm typing this the wind is blowing strong and occasionally rocking the car a little.   We were expecting heavy winds today.  The weather here in PA is always so back and forth.  All of January and February we were getting a lot of snow and then last week the sun started warming up the air and we can finally see all the grass again.  Today it's back to cold and I don't doubt that more snow will be here eventually.   19 more days until spring.   I think we'll get there.

If only it was possible for humans to hibernate during the winter months.   I'd be all for that.

I know my dog would love that.
